ECF Education Awards
The Eurasian Community Fund (ECF) Education Awards encourages all Eurasian students — primary, secondary, junior college, ITE, polytechnic, or university — to be the best they can be by providing assistance as well as encouragement.
If you’re a Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident and are Eurasian or have one parent who is Eurasian, you are eligible to receive a Bursary, Study Grant or a Merit, Excellence or Distinction Award.
Application forms can be obtained from the EA Secretariat, Level 3 Eurasian Community House. You may also contact Jacqueline Peeris at 6447 1578 or jacqueline@eurasians.org

Joint Tuition Awards
The Joint Tuition Awards (JTA) are presented to students who achieve significant improvement in their results at the PSLE, GCE N and O level examinations after participating in the Collaborative Tuition Programme (CTP). Jointly run by the four self-help groups, the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC), Eurasian Association (EA), Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) and Yayasan MENDAKI, the CTP provides tuition to students of all races.
To find out more about the CTP programme, contact Education Executive Jacqueline Peeris at 6447-1578 or email jacqueline@eurasians.org.

Merit Bursary Awards
The “Merit Bursary Awards” covers full tuition fees and books and ancillary expenses to help the students pursue their further education at institutes of higher learning. The criteria on which these students were selected are based on good academic performance, leadership and community-mindedness.
This is a scheme by which the Eurasian Association seeks to identify deserving and hardworking students worthy of being supported for further post-secondary education in the hope that in the years to come, the association will be able to develop a strong youth cohort who will be professionally and technically competent to seek rewarding careers in their chosen fields as well as reciprocating as youth leaders in the EA to inspire others to follow in their footsteps and raise the bar of education among Eurasian students.
Opportunity Fund
The Opportunity Fund was inaugurated during the 2006 Budget. Under the Progress Package, the Government allocated two million dollars for self-help groups to set up Opportunity Funds. The funds are disbursed as matching grants to the SHGs.
The purpose of the Fund is to provide students with opportunities to enrich their learning. The students are encouraged to put the vouchers to good use by purchasing textbooks, assessment books, stationary and other learning aids.
Every year at the Eurasian Community House, a short and informal ceremony is held to disburse Opportunity Fund vouchers to Eurasian students at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. This year, we were able to increase the voucher amount thanks to the generosity of our donor organization, the Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
