Gain unique insights into the early years of the Special Branch, the events that led to the Maria Hertogh riots, the Communist armed struggle in the 60s, and the uncovering of clandestine networks and terrorist activities in a guided tour of the ISD Heritage Centre. Exhibits are organised into 5 sections – ISD History & Organisation, Communism, Communalism, Terrorism and Espionage. Visitors will also get a glimpse into the work of ISD officers.
